AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) is a premier institute of the country. AFMC has its portal at afmc.nic.in.
AFMC has announced sale of Prospectus & Application Forms for MBBS Course commencing from 01 Aug 2009.
The forms can be obtained from select GPO's/ Head Post offices from 22 December 2008 to 28 January 2009.
The examination for the MBBS Course will be held on 3rd May 2009. Number of seats available are 130, out of which 25 are for woman candidates only.
For more information the candidates should refer to employment news of December 2008.
The following is the eligibility criteria for selection of candidates:
1) Must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan
2) Must be unmarried.
3) Should be medically fit.
4) Must have attained the age of 17yrs on 31st Dec of the year of application, but must not be above the age of 22 years on that date.
