Th Ministry of Human resources and Development (education.nic.in) has announced the list of candidates short-listed for interview under Commonwealth Scholarship Plan – 2009 (offered by Government of United Kingdom) to be held 16th to 18th December 2008.
Letter to candidates mentioning date and venue have been already issued. In case of non-receipt
of letter candidates are requested to download the application form from the link
given below:
education.nic.in and make 6 copies of the same. Filled up form are required to be submitted at the time of interview.
As per the MHRD site education.nic.in,
Each Copy of application should contain the following:
A) Photograph(firmly stapled) to the appropriate place on the application form.
B) Inside the application form in descending order:
i) Plan of study, which should in the case of a research proposal set out clearly the
aims and intentions of the study though this may have late to be modified in the light
of negotiation with scholar’s supervisor.
ii) Reports from three referee (note:-considerable delay is caused when report from
only one or two referees have been submitted with an application).
iii) Certified copy of University or college records in descending chronological order.
iv) N. O. C. from employer (if employed).
N. B. (a)The donor country will be unable to consider nomination, if full academic
transcripts and references are not provided.
(b) Transcripts of school records etc are unlikely to be of great value in the selection;
if submitted they should be free of academically irrelevant material and should appear
beneath the documents mentioned above and in descending chronological order.
