International Software Testing Qualification Board (www.istqb.org) is a certification body which has standardised the software testing processes by carrying out certificate exams for software testing professionals.

The Indian chapter of ISTQB is Indian Testing Board or ITB. By appearing and passing the given test, the candidate gets the Certification "ISTQB-Certified-Tester" by ITB.

A Test fee of Rs. 4000/- needs to be paid to appear for the exams. the current test centres and dates for India ISTQB can be found at www.istqb.org.
